I. INTRODUCTION Plaintiff Deyse Martinez de Maldonado (“Plaintiff”) brought the instant action against Defendant I.C. System, Inc. (“Defendant”), alleging claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), 15 U.S.C. § 1692 et seq., California’s Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“RFDCPA”), Cal. Civ. Code § 1788 et seq., and the California Code of Civil Procedure, Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 1280 et seq. (Doc. 1-3.) The action was originally filed in Fresno County Superior Court on November 28, 2022.
