17 Plaintiff, who suffers from diabetes, hypertension, obesity, degenerative disc disease, and “status post” femur and wrist fractures, challenges the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (“Commissioner”) denying his application for supplemental security income (“SSI”) under Title XVI of the Social Security Act. Both parties have moved for summary judgment. ECF Nos. 15 & 19. For the reasons discussed below, plaintiff’s motion is denied, and the Commissioner’s cross-motion is granted.
