INTRODUCTION 16 Plaintiff Lisa Landis (“Plaintiff”) seeks judicial review of a final decision of the 17 Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner” or “Defendant”) denying her application 18 for disability insurance benefits (“DIB”) under the Social Security Act (the “Act”). (Doc. 1.) The 19 matter is currently before the Court on the parties’ briefs, which were submitted, without oral 20 argument, to the Honorable Sheila K. Oberto, United States Magistrate Judge.2 21 II.
