AMENDED COMPLAINT 16 ECF No. 12 17 RESPONSE DUE WITHIN THIRTY DAYS 18 19 20 21 Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding without counsel, alleges that defendants violated his 22 First, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendment rights. ECF No. 12 at 4-8. After reviewing the 23 complaint, I find that it states viable claims against defendants S. Benavidez, A. Abarca, and N. 24 Cameron. It fails to state a viable claim against any other defendant. Plaintiff may either proceed 25 only with his claims against these three defendants, or he may delay serving any defendant and 26 amend his complaint again. 27
