16 17 Plaintiff Erick Dontay Grayson is proceeding pro se in this civil rights action pursuant to 18 42 U.S.C. § 1983. 19 I. INTRODUCTION 20 Plaintiff filed a complaint on March 14, 2024, and submitted an Application to Proceed In 21 Forma Pauperis (“IFP”) by a Prisoner. (Docs. 1, 2.) 22 In his IFP application, Plaintiff states he is unable to pay the filing fee, he is not 23 employed, and he does not receive any money from a business, profession or self-employment, 24 rent payments, interest or dividends, pensions, annuities or life insurance payments, disability or 25 workers’ compensation payments, gifts or inheritance, or from “[a]ny other sources.” (Doc. 2 at 26 1-2.)
