I. INTRODUCTION
18 19 On July 31, 2023, Plaintiff Charanjit Kaur (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint seeking judicial 20 review of a final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner” or 21 “Defendant”) denying her application for disability insurance benefits (“DIB”) under the Social 22 Security Act (the “Act”). (Doc. 1.) The matter is currently before the Court on the parties’ briefs, 23 which were submitted, without oral argument, to the Honorable Sheila K. Oberto, United States 24 Magistrate Judge.2 25 For the reasons set forth below, the undersigned recommends that Plaintiff’s motion for 26 1 On December 20, 2023, Martin O’Malley was named Commissioner of the Social Security Administration.
