18 Plaintiff Christopher Brandon Davis is proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this 19 civil rights action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. 20 I. INTRODUCTION 21 On February 28, 2024, Plaintiff filed a document titled “Motion for the Request for an 22 Investigator.” (Doc. 41.) That same date, Plaintiff filed his third motion for the appointment of 23 counsel. (Doc. 42.) 24 II.
