17 Plaintiff Michael Stokes initiated this action with the filing of a complaint against Defendant Amen Corporation on May 10, 2023. (Doc. 1). On May 11, 2022, the Court issued a summons, and on June 10, 2022, Plaintiff filed a notice of summons returned executed. (Doc. 5). After Defendant failed to timely respond to the complaint, Plaintiff moved for entry of default on August 9, 2022, and default was entered by the Clerk of the Court on the same day. (Docs. 6-7). Pending before the Court is Plaintiff’s motion for default judgment, filed on October 19, 2022. (Doc. 9). For the reasons set forth herein, the undersigned will recommend to the assigned district judge that the motion be granted. / /…
