14 J. GALLAGHER, et al., 2024 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff, a county jail inmate proceeding pro se, has filed this civil rights action seeking 18 relief under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Plaintiff has paid the filing fee. The matter was referred to a 19 United States Magistrate Judge pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. For the 20 reasons stated below, the undersigned will recommend that this matter be dismissed for failure to 21 comply with a court order. 22 I. BACKGROUND 23 On March 6, 2024, the Court directed Plaintiff to show cause why this matter should not 24 be dismissed for failure to file a change of address. ECF No. 12.
