On April 17, 2024, Plaintiff filed a notice of appeal of the Court’s March 19, 2024, order denying his motion for summary judgment, along with a motion for a certificate of appealability. (ECF Nos. 37, 50, 51.) Plaintiff is advised that while certificates of appealability are required in habeas corpus actions they are not needed in a civil rights action such as this one. See Miller-El v.
