16 On April 18, 2024, the Court issued an order continuing the scheduling conference to May 17 21, 2024 and requiring Plaintiff to file a status report no later than April 23, 2024 addressing the 18 status of this action. (ECF No. 12.) Plaintiff failed to file a status report by April 23, 2024 as 19 required by the Court’s April 18, 2024 order. 20 Local Rule 110 provides that “[f]ailure of counsel or of a party to comply with these Rules 21 or with any order of the Court may be grounds for imposition by the Court of any and all sanctions 22 … within the inherent power of the Court.” The Court has the inherent power to control its docket 23 and may, in the exercise of that power, impose sanctions where appropriate,…
