This action proceeds on the amended petition filed September 19 18, 2023. Petitioner challenges El Dorado County convictions and for injuring a spouse, false 20 imprisonment, criminal threats, cruelty to a child, and assault entered March 12, 2020. On April 21 27, 2020, petitioner was sentenced to a total of nine years in prison. ECF No. 17-1. 22 Respondent moves for dismissal. The exhaustion of state court remedies is a prerequisite 23 to the granting of a petition for writ of habeas corpus. 28 U.S.C. § 2254(b)(1).
