16 17 Plaintiff Nicholas Scott Stone is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma 18 pauperis in this civil rights action filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. As amended, Plaintiff’s 19 complaint generally alleges that Defendants (most of which are Doe Defendants) were 20 deliberately indifferent to his serious medical needs after two occasions in which he was shot in 21 the head during incidents on a prison yard.
