ORDER 14 MORAD NASHER, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff’s motion for entry of default judgment was heard before the assigned Magistrate 18 Judge on November 16, 2023. The matter was referred to a United States Magistrate Judge as 19 provided by Local Rule 302(c)(19) and 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1). 20 On March 13, 2024, the magistrate judge filed findings and recommendations, which 21 contained notice to the parties that any objections to the findings and recommendations were to be 22 filed within fourteen days. See generally F&Rs, ECF No. 27. Plaintiff objects to the magistrate 23 judge’s recommendation to award $5,000 in statutory damages rather than the requested 24 $150,000. See Objs. at 2–6, ECF No. 28. 25 In accordance with the provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(C) and Local Rule 304, this 26 court has conducted a de novo review of this case.
