INTRODUCTION 19 Plaintiff Yolanda Atkinson (“Plaintiff”) seeks judicial review of a final decision of the 20 Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner” or “Defendant”) denying her application for 21 disability insurance benefits (“DIB”) under the Social Security Act (the “Act”). (Doc. 1.) The matter 22 is currently before the Court on the parties’ briefs, which were submitted, without oral argument, to 23 the Honorable Sheila K. Oberto, United States Magistrate Judge.2 24 II.
