14 (ECF No. 21) Defendant. 15 16 On April 3, 2024, Marc V. Kalgian, counsel for Plaintiff Nyshia Nicole Perry, filed a 17 motion for an award of attorney’s fees under 42 U.S.C. § 406(b). (ECF No. 21). Plaintiff and the 18 Commissioner of Social Security were each served with a copy of the motion. (ECF No. 23 at 2- 19 3). Plaintiff has not filed any response to the motion. (See Docket). On March 7, 2024, the 20 Commissioner filed a response providing analysis regarding the fee request but taking no position 21 on its reasonableness. (ECF No. 24). The parties have consented to entry of final judgment by the 22 United States Magistrate Judge under the provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 636(c) with any appeal to the 23 Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
