15 Defendant. 16 17 18 Plaintiff Roger Soto brings this case against Defendant United Airlines, Inc. for 19 assault and wrongful termination based on Plaintiff’s refusal to receive a COVID-19 20 vaccine because of his sincerely held religious beliefs. Defendant has filed a motion 21 asking that the Court dismiss the case for failure to state a claim or for improper 22 venue, and, in the alternative, asking for the case to be transferred to Chicago in the 23 Northern District of Illinois, where Defendant is headquartered. For the reasons set 24 forth below, the Court grants in part and denies in part Defendant’s Motion to Dismiss 25 or in the Alternative to Transfer Venue (ECF No. 9).
