EQUAL ACCESS TO JUSTICE ACT, 28 U.S.C. § 2412(d) 14 COMMISSIONER OF SOCIAL SECURITY, (Doc. 25) 15 Defendant. 16 17 Pending before the Court is the stipulated request of Plaintiff Irma Casillas De Magana 18 (“Plaintiff”) for the award of attorney’s fees pursuant to the Equal Access to Justice Act 19 (“EAJA”), 28 U.S.C. § 2412(d).1 (Doc. 25). Plaintiff requests an award of attorney’s fees in the 20 amount of $7,500 to counsel for Plaintiff, Jonathan O. Pena. Id. 21 On February 29, 2024, the Court issued an order granting Plaintiff’s motion for summary 22 judgment and remanding this action for further proceedings under sentence four 42 U.S.C. § 23 405(g). (Doc. 23).
