13 Plaintiff Christopher Chadd’s motion to remand came on for hearing before this 14 court on September 4, 2019. Plaintiff appeared through his counsel, Lora Vail French. 15 Defendant Trans Bay Cable, LLC appeared through its counsel, Todd Boyer. Having 16 read the papers filed by the parties and carefully considered their arguments and the 17 relevant legal authority, and good cause appearing, the court hereby GRANTS plaintiff’s 18 motion to remand for the reasons stated at the hearing and summarized below. The 19 court also DENIES plaintiff’s request for fees as well as his request for judicial notice. 20 BACKGROUND 21 Plaintiff initiated this action in the San Francisco County Superior Court on 22 January 16, 2019.
