INTRODUCTION 14 Plaintiffs Columbia Insurance Co. and MiTek Inc. bring this motion for a preliminary 15 injunction seeking to enjoin Defendant Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. from “making, using, 16 offering to sell, or selling in the United States, or importing into the United States” Simpson’s 17 DGF, DGHF, and DGBF Fire Wall Hangers or “colorable variations thereof” because these 18 products infringe Columbia’s U.S. Patent No. 10,316,510 (the “’510 patent”).
