12 Plaintiff Ar’maney Lewis brings a motion to remand this case to Alameda County Superior 13 Court. See Dkt. No. 21. Because there is no basis for this Court to exercise jurisdiction, the Court 14 GRANTS Plaintiff’s motion and REMANDS the case. 15 I. BACKGROUND 16 On February 28, 2019, Plaintiff filed a wage and hour putative class action complaint in 17 the Alameda County Superior Court. Dkt. No. 1-1 (“Complaint”). Plaintiff listed “ABB Optical 18 Group LLC” and “ABB Con-Cise Optical Group LLC” as Defendants. Id. ¶ 6–8. Plaintiff was 19 employed by Defendants as an hourly, non-exempt employee in California from approximately 20 November 2016 to February 2017. Id. ¶ 18.
