13 14 Plaintiff Timothy Needham seeks judicial review of the Commissioner of Social 15 Security’s (the “Commissioner”) final decision denying Needham’s claim for disability 16 benefits pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). This action is before the court on the parties’ 17 cross-motions for summary judgment. Having considered the parties’ cross-motions, the 18 pertinent legal authorities, and having reviewed the administrative record, the court 19 hereby remands this case to the Commissioner for further proceedings in accordance 20 with this court’s order. 21 BACKGROUND 22 A.
