Plaintiff appeals from the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security denying his application for Supplemental Security Income (“SSI”) disability benefits. For the reasons discussed below, the Court remands the case for further proceedings. I. BACKGROUND Plaintiff filed an application for SSI disability benefits in 2014, alleging disability beginning November 12, 2014. See Dkt. 16 (Administrative Record (“AR”)) 67, 218. An Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”) held a hearing and issued an unfavorable decision on September 7, 2017. AR 25-47. The ALJ found that Plaintiff had the following severe impairments: degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease of the right shoulder, 17 diverticulitis, hepatitis C, obesity, and major depressive disorder. …
