15 I. INTRODUCTION 16 Plaintiff Navjeet Singh Banga was a law student at defendant John F. Kennedy University 17 (“JFKU”) for two semesters. During those semesters, he took two letter-graded courses: Torts and 18 Contracts. He failed both classes, resulting in his academic disqualification from JFKU Law at the 19 end of his first year. Alleging his poor academic performance was the result of discrimination on 20 the basis of disability, Banga subsequently sued JFKU, its parent National University, and several 21 of its administrators. Defendants now move for summary judgment on each of Banga’s claims. 22 The motion is suitable for disposition without oral argument, and the hearing set for April 2, 2020 23 is vacated. For the…
