The original petition was dismissed with leave to amend, and petitioner has 16 filed an amended petition. 17 BACKGROUND 18 Petitioner was convicted of first-degree robbery and felony domestic violence. Am. Pet. 19 (Dkt. 7) at 2. He was sentenced to 13 years in state prison. Id. at 1. The California Court of Appeal 20 affirmed the judgment, and the California Supreme Court denied review.
