12 13 Plaintiff, an inmate at Pelican Bay State Prison (“PBSP”), filed this pro se civil rights 14 action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Now pending before the Court is defendants’ motion to 15 dismiss plaintiff’s claim that defendants violated his rights under the Americans with Disabilities 16 Act, 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq. (“ADA”). Dkt. No. 24. Plaintiff has filed an opposition, and 17 defendants have filed a reply. Dkt. Nos. 25, 27.1 Also pending before the Court is plaintiff’s 18 request for leave to file an amended complaint. Dkt. No. 29.
