(“Orion”) seeks sanctions pursuant to Rule 26(g) of 15 the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure against defendant Ningbo Sunny Electronic Co., Ltd. 16 (“Ningbo Sunny”) and its counsel Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP (“Sheppard 17 Mullin”). For the reasons explained below, the Court grants Orion’s motion for sanctions with 18 respect to Ningbo Sunny’s responses to Orion’s document requests but denies the motion with 19 respect to Ningbo Sunny’s responses to Orion’s interrogatory. 20 I.
