12 Petitioner, a state prisoner who is incarcerated at Salinas Valley State Prison in Monterey 13 County, has filed this pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus challenging a judgment of 14 conviction from the Yolo County Superior Court. Dkt. 1. Petitioner has consented to magistrate 15 judge jurisdiction in this action, which has been assigned to the undersigned Magistrate Judge. 16 Dkts. 2, 3. Petitioner has paid the full filing fee. See Dkt. 1. 17 A petition for a writ of habeas corpus made by a person in custody under the judgment and 18 sentence of a state court of a State which contains two or more federal judicial districts may be 19 filed in either the district of confinement or the district of conviction.
