12 INTRODUCTION Wendell Coleman filed this pro se civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The complaint is now before the court for review pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e). This order also addresses plaintiff’s request for a temporary restraining order. 17 BACKGROUND Plaintiff complains about various events that allegedly occurred in the criminal prosecution against him. He alleges that many charges were dismissed and some failed to result in convictions, see Docket No. 1 at 4, but concedes that there was a guilty verdict on at least one charge, id. at 8 (“jailed immediately after guilty verdict”).
