Plaintiff Sungkyunkwan University Foundation for Corporate Collaboration (“SKKU”) filed this patent infringement action against Defendant Pinterest, Inc. The parties dispute the construction of a total of eight terms found within one patent: U.S. Patent No. 8,639,687 (the ’687 Patent). The technology at issue is about collecting user preferences and generating customized content. Having considered the parties’ briefing and claim construction arguments in the June 17, 2020, Markman hearing, the Court construes the terms as set forth below. I.
