Before the Court is the petition filed by Petitioner Marco Sacchi (“Sacchi”) for the return of his two minor children R.S. and A.S. to Italy pursuant to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, Oct. 25, 1980, 19 I.L.M. 1501 (“Convention”), as implemented by the International Child Abduction Remedies Act (“ICARA”), codified at 22 U.S.C. §§ 9001, et seq. (Dkt. No. 1.) The Court has considered all of the evidence submitted during the bench trial, including the testimony by Sacchi, Respondent Klodjana Dervishi (“Dervishi”), and expert witness S. Margaret Lee, Ph.D. Having considered the evidence carefully, the Court now finds that R.S and A.S were at the time of the alleged wrongful retention and now remain habitual residents of the Italy, and GRANTS the Petition for their return. …
