INTRODUCTION Plaintiff Henry Desean Adams, a state prisoner currently incarcerated at the California Men’s Colony, has filed a pro se civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, stemming from an August 22, 2018 incident during which excessive force was used against him by deputies at Martinez Detention Facility (“MDF”), where he was previously incarcerated.
