INTRODUCTION This lawsuit pertains to an alleged fraudulent scheme in which beauty products are advertised as “free samples,” but consumers are later inconspicuously charged for monthly subscriptions. Plaintiff Cindy Adam filed the operative First Amended Complaint (Docket No. 33, “FAC”) against the following defendants: Frank V.
