INTRODUCTION This putative class action alleges that defendant’s representations regarding advertising on its social media platform were deceptive and fraudulent in violation of California’s Unfair Competition Law because, contrary to defendant’s representations that advertisers would not be charged for invalid clicks to their ads, defendant nevertheless charged plaintiff for such clicks.
