12 Plaintiffs Omar Atebar, Lizett Anguiano, Tomas Hernandez, Eric Pirverdian, Tomig Salmasian, Dior Dee, and Jesus Sanchez (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) bring this putative consumer class action against Defendants Samsung Electronics America, Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (collectively, “Defendants”), alleging certain Samsung smartphone batteries pose a threat to the safety of consumers. See Second Am. Compl. ¶ 1 (“SAC”), ECF 108.
