Plaintiff Valentina Riffel (“Riffel”) sues the Regents of the University of California (“Defendant”) for causes of action arising from the “Varsity Blues” college admissions scandal involving William “Rick” Singer and parents of college applicants conspiring to bribe athletic coaches and administrators to get their children admitted to various universities through fraud. Defendant has filed a motion to dismiss pursuant to Rule 12(b)(1) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
