12 Pending before the Court is the motion to dismiss filed by Defendants General Electric Company and ViacomCBS. Dkt. No. 78. The Court finds this matter appropriate for disposition without oral argument and the matter is deemed submitted. See Civil L.R. 7-1(b). For the reasons detailed below, the Court GRANTS IN PART and DENIES IN PART the motion. I. BACKGROUND In September 2020, Roberto Elorreaga and Rosemary Elorreaga initially filed this asbestos action in San Francisco Superior Court against approximately twenty-five Defendants. See Dkt. No. 1-1. Defendants then removed the case to federal court. See Dkt. No. 1-1. Roberto Elorreaga died in October 2021, Dkt. No. 55, and his family is now pursuing this case, see…
