I. INTRODUCTION Plaintiffs Brayden Stark, Judd Oostyen, Kevin Black, and Maryann Owens bring this putative class action against Defendant Patreon, Inc. asserting claims under the federal Video Privacy Protection Act (“VPPA”) and California law based on Patreon’s alleged sharing of user data with Facebook. Patreon moves to dismiss under Rule 12(b)(6) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for failure to state a claim on which relief may be granted. The Court finds the matter suitable for resolution without oral argument and VACATES the hearing previously set for October 14, 2022.
