12 Petitioner, an inmate at in Federal Correctional Institute – Dublin (“FCI-Dublin”) filed this pro se action seeking a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. For the reasons set forth below, the Court GRANTS Petitioner an extension of time to file an amended petition. DISCUSSION I. Procedural Background Petitioner commenced this habeas action by filing a petition on or about August 26, 2022. Dkt. No. 1. In the petition, Petitioner stated that she was sentenced on February 3, 2022, in the Eastern District of Louisiana, but did not specify her commitment offense or the length of her sentence.
