13 Plaintiff Stanford Health Care brings suit against Defendants The Chef’s Warehouse, Inc., Welfare Benefit Plan and Trustmark Health Benefits, Inc., alleging that it did not receive adequate payment for non-emergency medical services provided to Defendants’ plan enrollees. Plaintiff asserts one UCL “unlawful” claim based on a California health insurance regulation and one claim for an alleged open book account between the parties. Defendants have moved to dismiss both claims, and the Court took Defendants’ motion under submission without oral arguments on May 25, 2023.
