On October 27, 2023, the court transferred this case to the Western District of Washington pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a). [Docket No. 36.] The case was electronically transmitted to the Western District of Washington and entered on the docket of that court on October 30, 2023. On the same day, Plaintiff Linda Ames filed a document entitled “Objection to Magistrate’s Recommendation” that she docketed as an “Emergency Motion for Reconsideration” of the Order transferring the case. [Docket No. 37.] This court lost jurisdiction over this case when it was docketed in the Western District of Washington. See Lou v. Belzberg, 834 F.2d 730, 733 (9th Cir. 1987) (holding the “docketing date” is when a transfer under 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a) becomes effective, ending the…
