12 Petitioner, an inmate housed at California State Prison – Corcoran, Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, has filed this petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. For the reasons set forth below, the Court DENIES as moot Petitioner’s request for leave to file an amended petition. Dkt. No. 12. DISCUSSION I. Background Petitioner commenced this action on or about April 17, 2023, by filing the petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 docketed at Dkt. No. 1.
