14 Defendant. (Docket No. 16) 15 16 Plaintiff, a state prisoner, filed the instant pro se civil rights complaint under 42 17 U.S.C. § 1983, against Sgt. I. Perez-Pantoja for unconstitutional acts against him at the 18 Correctional Training Facility (“CTF”). Dkt. No. 1. The Honorable Magistrate Judge 19 Kandis A. Westmore found the complaint stated cognizable claims under the First and 20 Eighth Amendments and ordered the matter served on the sole Defendant. Dkt. No. 14. 21 The matter was reassigned to this Court on December 27, 2022. Dkt.
