12 In this nationwide class action, plaintiff Eric M. Wickham alleges that the defendant Schenker, Inc. violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act and California law by failing to provide proper disclosures and obtain proper authorization prior to conducting credit and background checks on prospective employees. Before the Court is Schenker’s motion to transfer this matter to the Eastern District of Virginia under 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a). For the following reasons, the Court concludes that Schenker has failed to demonstrate that the convenience of parties and witnesses and the interest of justice favor transfer.
