12 13 In this nationwide class action, plaintiff Eric M. Wickham alleges that the defendant 14 Schenker, Inc. violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act and California law by failing to provide 15 proper disclosures and obtain proper authorization prior to conducting credit and background 16 checks on prospective employees. Before the Court is Schenker’s motion to transfer this matter to 17 the Eastern District of Virginia under 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a). For the following reasons, the Court 18 concludes that Schenker has failed to demonstrate that the convenience of parties and witnesses 19 and the interest of justice favor transfer.
