14 Plaintiff Dassault Systèmes Solidworks Corporation (“Plaintiff”) sued Defendants 15 Blissera Corporation (“Blissera”), a developer that engineers and sells personal vacuum 16 elevators1, and Suren Alexanian (“Alexanian”), Blissera’s CEO, (collectively 17 “Defendants”) alleging copyright infringement arising from Alexanian’s and Blissera 18 employees’ use of Plaintiff’s software without purchasing the appropriate license. 19 Defendants failed to appear in this case, so—following the Clerk’s entry of default on 20 September 29, 2023—Plaintiff moved for default judgment.
