12 13 UBH brings a Motion to Stay (“Motion”) asking the Court to stay all proceedings in these 14 related cases pending a decision by the Court of Appeals on its petition for a writ of mandamus 15 directing this Court to enter judgment for UBH on Plaintiffs’ denial of benefits claim and 16 prohibiting further proceedings as to that claim. Having considered the parties’ briefs,1 the Court 17 DENIES the Motion for the reasons stated below.2 18 In deciding a motion to stay an order pending appeal, courts consider: “(1) whether the stay 19 applicant has made a strong showing that he is likely to succeed on the…
