12 13 Petitioner, a California state prisoner currently housed at California Men’s Colony,1 has 14 filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 challenging the validity of 15 his state court conviction. ECF No. 1. Respondent has filed an answer to the petition. ECF Nos. 16 18-19 (“Answer”). Petitioner has not filed a traverse, and the deadline to do has passed.
