12 13 Before the Court are numerous filings by the parties that concern a request by plaintiff to 14 extend the close of fact discovery and various discovery disputes. Dkt. Nos. 38, 40, 41, 42, 43. For 15 the reasons stated below, the Court DENIES plaintiff’s request to extend fact discovery but 16 ORDERS defendants to respond to the Requests for Production (“RFPs”) contained in the December 17 29, 2023 deposition notices. 18 19 BACKGROUND 20 Under the Court’s September 18, 2023 pretrial preparation order, the cutoff date for non- 21 expert discovery was January 15, 2024.
