13 BACKGROUND 14 Pro se Plaintiff Michael Devin Floyd (“Plaintiff”) brings this lawsuit, pursuant to 42 15 U.S.C. § 1981, alleging violations of his civil rights by Defendant 24 Hour Fitness USA 16 (“Defendant”). Dkt. 1.
