For the reasons set forth below, the Court DISMISSES this petition for lack of 15 federal habeas jurisdiction; DENIES a certificate of appealability; and DENIES Petitioner’s 16 request for a stay, ECF No. 4 at 7, ECF No. 7 at 1. 17 DISCUSSION 18 In 2012, Petitioner was convinced of first-degree murder and sentenced to a prison term of 19 50 years to life.
